Our move is completed, we've unpacked most of the boxes, and we're finally feeling settled, so...it's time to get back to tracking down our Mangano family members!

Taking on the preservation of Sam Mangano's website was a decision we didn't need to think twice about. Ahhh, now if we could have only timed it so that it wouldn't have coincided with our move to a new home . . . But that would be too easy, and as a rule, we don't usually find the easy way to do anything. As a matter of fact, we lean toward the complicated.

When my wife and I first learned that Sam Mangano was looking for someone else to take on the management of his website, our ears perked up. Julie has long been deeply involved in researching her family history. Our marriage forced her to include the Mangano's in her research (along with Cerniglias, Ippolitos, Battaglias, Pecoraros, Balsanos, and Mancusos, to name a few) and she has valiantly tried to untangle the web of my Sicilian roots.
